Honey Soy Chicken Drumsticks
Chicken drumsticks never go out of style!
Ingredients: 1 kg Lilydale Bulk Drumsticks, 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, two teaspoons grated fresh ginger.
Method: Preheat oven to 200C (in the past you would know that I always have my oven on too high!), make the marinade by putting honey, soy sauce, vegetable oil and ginger in a bowl. Mix the ingredients together. Next add the drumsticks, toss to coat, cover and leave for 15 minutes to marinate.
Put the chicken and marinade into a roasting tray (I line mine with baking paper to make it easier to clean). Roast for 45 minutes, turning the chicken every 15 minutes. Moments before your chicken is ready, put your microwave rice in a bag (I'm always looking for short cuts - and this is one of my favourites!) Serve the drumsticks on a bed of rice.
Success rate: Three out of four family members love this! My husband made it clear from the start of our relationship that he won't eat drumsticks!
